Stock Wars - Virtual Investing App Reviews

Ive downloaded this app two times and each time it wouldnt even start. The screen would pop up for a half a second and instantly crash.

Loved this app until recently when one of my stocks split. I cant find any way to update my portfolio to reflect the split, I just have the same number of shares at the much lower price, making it appear that I have around $12k less. I even emailed the provided "contact us" with a question regarding what to do. All I got was an automated response thanking me for my "comment". Well thanks for nothing! It does say on the Help page that "stock splits are usually applied the weekend following the effective date using Add/Remove transactions" but cant find the "Add/remove transactions button anywhere. Apparently it isnt automatic and the user must do something to deal with the split but what?? Wish they would respond to me.

Im rather sure this app could get paid for if the developers really put their brains to it. Lots of interest and potential. Slow interface, poor execution make it unfortunately a frustrating experience.

Its definitely seems like a good entry level into the ways stocks work without actually risking your own money. And the stock prices seem pretty on point.

Not very many stocks to choose from and lacks a stock search feature. My toaster can make a better app.

This is a good App for beginners in stock trading but it lacks tools that users can use when analyzing a stocks chart. Also, more options should be available for the users when buying/selling a stock like limits, stops etc... All In all this is a GOOD app but it COULD BE BETTER. Im am one of those said beginners and these are things that I would like to see while using this app. I havent played for some time and when I started using it today again I noticed that nothing has changed. This app needs renovating.

Everytime and up 40% the app get crazy and money is gone, they Need update the app

I had over 9,000 dollars that where not invested in stocks and somehow it just disappeared

the only issue Im having is that it work fine for a few hours then it suddenly keep crashing....other than that its an excellent app

Love app just the functions are so off and on again

Its a great app i have been using this app almost a year it was really good experience but some how the app starting having adds and its blocking my view. Please Help I want to get rid off the ads or remove it from the game completley

Was hoping to practice shorting. Doesnt support that option though. This is just basic market buy and sell. Doesnt even offer limit orders.

The app keeps crashing

Have enjoyed the free way to learn about stocks. Would be nice if there were a document that explained all the abbreviations and how the math works.

Cant even log in

This app is a very basic approach to a very complicated world. But when Orders are dropped and Executions fail it becomes completely unrealistic.

PLEASE! Stock splits come up as a 50% loss instead of giving you double the shares at half price. Makes you lose good profits. Otherwise I love the app!
